Using RPG Elements in the Classroom - under construction

In our classroom, we use elements of RPGS for a variety of purposes, especially to increase engagement with content and teamwork/prosocial skills in the students.

How does it work? And how can we make it work better? That is the research I am focusing on right now in my PhD projects.

-First - Here is a list of academic articles supporting the use of ttrpgs in education (from the wonderful Steph at TTRPGKids!)

-Under Resources check out the articles I have published this year around RPGs in classrooms!

-This summer I will be doing the field work for my dissertation research, where I am studying the use of RPGs in the Special Education Extended School Year.

-This fall, a colleague and I will be using a version of the solo RPG Lighthouse at the End of the World, from Bannerless Games, to study impact on the creative writing of 8th graders!

Stay Tuned!
